Electric Wall Heater

Details on the Electric Wall Heater

Electric wall heaters obviously run off of electricity. They do not normally require any special electrical installations however as with all electrics you should always check with a qualified electrician. They work by the electricity heating a coil in the air and then usually a fan will blow the heated air to circulate it in the room.

These types of heaters do not require any ventilation as there are no products of combustion to worry about. This in turn means that all the windows and doors to the shop can be kept closed, letting the insulation perform to its best.

These heaters are also easily controlled via a timer or thermostat. Having your heaters on a timer is a great benefit because it allows you to pre-heat the shop so that it's warm when you arrive. Sometimes workshops can take a long time to heat and so if you are turning your heater on when you arrive, you may have a long period of discomfort.

Electric Wall Heaters

Electric heaters are not as powerful as their gas powered cousins but what they lack in strength they make up for in ease of use, dependability and simplicity. They are quite often used as a secondary heat source either when the main heater is maxed out or if it's not quite cold enough to switch the main one off and the chill just needs taken off.
